Former Official: Olympics symbolize shared future

Wei Jizhong, the former secretary-general of the Chinese Olympic Committee and a torchbearer in the Beijing 2022 relay starting on Wednesday, said the Games will once again create a new model for a new age. He added that the Olympic motto, "Together for a Shared Future " is a version of building a community with a shared future for mankind.
