HR conference in Shanghai draws big names


Human resources professionals from more than 100 Fortune 500 companies and high-growth local startups across different industries gathered at the 2021 China Talent Momentum Conference held in Shanghai on Thursday.
The conference was held by MoSeeker, a domestic company that provides digital recruiting solutions.
Participants discussed topics including employer brand management, recruitment technology development, and organizational strategy.
Stracy Shen, vice-president of human relations at L'Oreal North Asia and China, said that continuous innovations and new attempts to open up more possibilities are the basis of creating a digital transformation in the human resources industry and allowing young, potential employees to explore novel career experiences.
Catherine Huang, managing director and head of HR at Accenture Greater China, said that 88 percent of employees around the world today believe that flexibility of work is one of the key elements of an ideal job.
"When a rising number of employees prefer the hybrid work model, human resources workers need to pay more attention to providing an all-rounded and connected employee experience," she said.
Wang Xiangdao, founder and CEO of MoSeeker, said that the company recently unveiled a new version of its recruiting tool on WeChat which allows potential job candidates to become more visible and approachable to employers.
