HK exhibition of nation's architectural achievements opens
A six-day exhibition featuring the history and achievements of China's architecture opened in Hong Kong on Monday.
The exhibition, which runs through Saturday, features the nation's major infrastructure projects, such as the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, Hong Kong's Chek Lap Kok International Airport, renowned skyscrapers and other world-class buildings.
The projects are showcased in historical photos, construction models, videos and images, and interaction with viewers.
The event was co-hosted by the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Hong Kong SAR government and the China State Construction Engineering Corporation.
Many officials, experts and scholars from Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition.
