Hong Kong celebrates 72nd National Day

A flag-raising ceremony took place at Golden Bauhinia Square in Wan Chai in celebration of the 72nd anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, on Oct 1, 2021.

Various activities have been held to mark the special moment in different places of China's special administrative region including Wan Chai and Tsim Sha Tsui.

Some people waved national flags on the street to express their appreciation, while others ran with national flags to commemorate the occasion.
