Hangzhou Party secretary under investigation

Zhou Jiangyong, a member of the Standing Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Party secretary of Hangzhou, is being investigated for suspected serious violation of discipline and law, according to the country's top anti-graft watchdog on Saturday.

Zhou is under both disciplinary and supervisory investigations from the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission.
