TOKYO -- South Korea eased past Chinese Taipei 6-0 in the final to claim the men's team gold at the Tokyo Olympics here on Monday.

Kim Je-deok, Rio champion Kim Woo-jin and Oh Jin-hyek won South Korea's third archery gold in as many events, manifesting the country's dominance in the sport.

This is also the second gold for Kim Je-deok, after 17-year-old won the mixed team event with An San, who helped secure the country's ninth consecutive win in women's team.

The remaining two golds on offer are from men's and women's individual events, where South Korean archers are undoubtedly hot favorites.

Host Japan edged the Netherlands 5-4 for the bronze.
