Staff at Lukou airport in Nanjing test positive for COVID

Nine of the samples collected from staff of the city's Lukou International Airport tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday night, Nanjing, Jiangsu province reported.
The COVID-19 control and prevention headquarters of Nanjing's Jiangning district, where the airport is located, received reports from the airport that some samples of its employees tested positive for the virus on Tuesday morning.
The airport's employees received tests on a regular basis as one of the city's measures against COVID-19. Employees tested positive were mainly ground staff, including ground services and cleaning workers, according to the official Wechat account of Nanjing government.
The city quarantined many of the airport's employees immediately and took a second-round test of them, which resulted in many flights delayed on Tuesday.
As of 6 pm Tuesday, nine samples collected tested positive for the virus, while the rest of the samples remained to be checked.
The provincial and the city's governments have ordered strict measures to contain the virus, such as trace contacts, patient treatment and environmental disinfection.
Notices of some employees' contacts have been sent to other provinces and cities. Updates about COVID-19 cases will be released to the public timely, according to Nanjing government's Wechat account.
Any passenger taking off from the Lukou International Airport must present a negative nucleic acid test result taken within 48 hours since Tuesday, it said.
