Flight operations in Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport remain generally intact, the airport said in a statement on its official weibo account.

It said there are a total of 780 inbound and outbound fights on Friday. As of 4:30 pm, 460 inbound and outbound flights had been implemented at the airport, while 63 flights were dynamically cancelled. "Overall, flight operations are normal," said the airport's statement.

Earlier, a flight information platform showed the airport canceled more than 400 flights, accounting for around 40 percent of the total number of flights as of 2:25 pm on Friday, according to a report by Global Times.

According to the city's health commission, people leaving Shenzhen at the airport are required to present negative nucleic acid test results within 72 hours of departure.

Travelers holding a Guangzhou or Foshan ID card or having travel experience in the two cities within 14 days, should provide negative nucleic acid test results within the last 48 hours to take off from the airport.

Shenzhen reported four newly imported confirmed cases and one imported asymptomatic infection on Thursday, according to the municipal health commission.
