British diving star Daley selected for fourth Olympics

LONDON - Former world champion Tom Daley will lead the British diving team to compete in Tokyo this summer as a 12-athlete diving squad for Team Britain at the Olympic Games was announced on Wednesday.
Daley, 27, won the bronze in the men's 10m platform event at the 2012 London Olympics and added a bronze medal of the 10m synchronised platform from the Rio Games four years later.
The two-time world champion in the 10m platform will compete in both single and synchronised events at his fourth Olympics with Matty Lee as his partner.
Dan Goodfellow, who won 10m bronze with Daley five years ago, will pair up with Jack Laugher in the 3m synchronised springboard competition. Laugher took victory in the event at the Rio Games with Chris Mears, winning the first Olympic gold medal for Britain in diving.
The 26-year-old Laugher also won 3m springboard silver in Rio.
