The sale of the tickets for the season opener, which is to be played between Guangzhou FC and Guangzhou City on Tuesday, has gone unexpectedly well, the CSL official social media Weibo said.

Around 30,000 fans will be allowed into the Guangzhou Tianhe stadium to watch the first Guangzhou derby of the new season.
