Former provincial legislator under investigation for discipline violation

BEIJING -- A former senior legislator of East China's Shandong province is under investigation for suspected serious violations of Party disciplinary rules and laws, the country's top anti-graft body said on Tuesday.
Zhang Xinqi, former deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Shandong Provincial People's Congress, is being investigated by the Communist Party of China Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission.
