China's Wuhan appoints acting mayor

WUHAN -- Cheng Yongwen was appointed deputy mayor and acting mayor of Wuhan, capital of Central China's Hubei province, on Friday.
The appointment was made at the 35th session of the Standing Committee of the 14th Wuhan Municipal People's Congress, the local legislature.
