Courier services to use green packaging

China will make courier delivery services more accessible and convenient and speed up the transformation to green packaging, the State Post Bureau said. The country plans to use 5 million recyclable packages, avoid overpackaging of 80 percent of e-commerce parcels and set up 20,000 new service outlets with standard packaging waste recycling devices by the end of the year.

Aerial vehicle makes maiden flight

WJ-700, a high-altitude, high-speed and long-endurance unmanned aerial vehicle capable of conducting reconnaissance and strikes, has carried out its maiden flight. Developed by an institute under the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corp, the WJ-700's key indicators such as endurance, range and carrying capacity have reached an advanced level. The UAV will target both the domestic and international markets in the next five to 10 years, according to the company.

Zhiji Motor debuts smart NEVs

Zhiji Motor, a high-end smart electric-vehicle company in China, has debuted two smart new-energy vehicle models in Shanghai. One model, an electric sedan, will be open for pre-order in April and delivered to customers in 2022, while the other model, an electric SUV, is expected to hit the market in 2022.
