Global vloggers, influencers kick off 'Daka China'
"Daka China" Global Communication Event opened in Wenzhou City, East China's Zhejiang province, on Friday.
More than 40 vloggers and influencers from 20 countries attended the launching ceremony.
"Daka" which means punching the card, refers to social-media driven practice of registering one's presence at a famous location.
The social media influencers will "daka" different places in Zhejiang, showcase their experiences in China to the world while recording beautiful scenery, tasting delicious foods and experiencing local culture.
During the opening ceremony, several online celebrities shared their stories.
Stuart Thomas Wiggin, a British vlogger who has lived in China for 13 years, produced a series of entertaining and informative online shows to introduce different aspects of China.
Musab Al Rudaisat from Jordan expressed his love for the history, culture and food of Zhejiang.
