3D artificial eye developed by HK scientists

An international team led by Hong Kong University of Science and Technology scientists has developed the world's first 3D artificial eye. Made of an array of nanowire light sensors, it replicates visual signal to reflect what the "eye" sees onto the computer screen when the sensors are connected to liquid-metal wires serving as nerves.
