Los Angeles FC to seek new name for home stadium

WASHINGTON - Major League Soccer team Los Angeles FC (LAFC) announced on Tuesday that they will be seeking a new naming-right partner for their home stadium after the club and Banc of California restructured their partnership.
LAFC's home has been known as Banc of California Stadium since its debut season in 2018, but the team said the bank will eventually step away as the naming-right partner for the stadium while staying on as the club's official banking partner.
"We are extremely proud of our relationship with Banc of California and all that we have built and accomplished together," LAFC co-owner and president Tom Penn said.
"We thank them for being our founding naming right partner, helping us create something special and making Banc of California Stadium one of the best sports and entertainment experiences in Los Angeles. We are excited to continue working with Banc of California on our joint community initiatives, while also pursuing a new naming right partner for the stadium."
