China's top legislature to formulate law on personal information protection

BEIJING -- China's top legislature will formulate a law on personal information protection this year, it said Monday in an annual work report.
The report of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) was submitted to the third session of the 13th NPC for deliberation. Li Zhanshu, chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, delivered the report.
