National 5G new media platform launched
China Media Group has launched the country's first national-level 5G new media platform called Yangshipin, the group said on Wednesday.
According to CMG, the platform will provide quality content in the areas of culture, sports and news while integrating multiple emerging technologies and resources.
Highlighting the priority of mobile terminals, it manages to create a comprehensive audiovisual new media flagship app by following its new strategic layout of 5G plus 4K and 8K plus artificial intelligence.
It's capable of producing 4K ultrahigh-definition short and long videos, as well as livestreams. The group said that it is looking to pull away from traditional streaming modes to engage viewers in video production and sharing.
The Yangshipin app is now available to download from all app stores, including Huawei's.
