Albania draw 2-2 against Andorra in Euro 2020 qualifiers
TIRANA - Albania had a 2-2 draw against Andorra in a Euro 2020 qualifier here on Thursday.
In the ninth round of Group H, Albania led by Italian coach Edoardo Reja played against Andorra at "Elbasan Arena" stadium, 44 kilometer from the capital city Tirana.
Albanian forward Bekim Balaj broke the ice with a header only six minutes into the game.
In the 18th minute, Andorra tied the score at 1-1 with a goal by the midfielder Cristian Martinez.
The second half started with a second goal from Andorra by Martinez in the 48th minute.
Albanian forward Rey Manaj leveled the score in the 56th minute on an assist from midfielder Odise Roshi.
Albania stand fourth in Group H with 13 points.
Group H is led by France with 22 points and Turkey 20 points, which have already qualified for Euro 2020. Iceland stand third with 16 points, while Andorra sit fifth with 4 points and Moldova at bottom with 3 points.
