8 dead, 6 injured in NE China traffic accident

Eight people were killed and another six injured in a traffic accident in Changchun, capital of Northeast China's Jilin province on Sunday afternoon, according to the local traffic police department.
The accident happened in the southeastern suburbs of the city when a minibus collided with a concrete mixer truck.
The local government started emergency response immediately after the accident. The injured have been sent to the hospital for treatment and investigation into the accident is underway.
