Smart phones have changed our lives in more ways than we can count. Can you remember the last time you wrote a letter to your family, if ever? Quite old fashioned, right?
Times change because time flies. In the 70 years since the founding of the People's Republic of China, Chinese people's lives have changed beyond their wildest dreams in every way from what they eat and wear, to how they travel, play and keep in touch. It used to be by letters or even word of mouth; now it's video calls and social media. What's unchanged throughout the ages, however, is their love and longing for family and motherland.
