ZHENGZHOU - "Now that you've found the way, you can act boldly," said Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee on poverty relief during his inspection to central China's Henan Province.
Xi made the remarks Tuesday when talking with villagers in an oil-seed camellia plantation in Guangshan County.
The villagers said they had got rid of poverty and felt like celebrating the Spring Festival every day.
Xi said planting oil-seed camellia is green, environmentally friendly and ecologically sound, a good way to boost economic development and increase farmers' income.
