BEIJING -- China's Ministry of Education on Thursday issued safety tips for primary and secondary school students during the summer vacation.
Schools are required to have a sufficient number of teachers to accompany the students during social activities and summer camps and remind students not to go to dangerous areas, the ministry said in a statement.
It urged schools to always educate students about food hygiene, disease prevention and travel safety.
The ministry also advised parents to strengthen education and management of their children to raise their awareness of safety and self-protection.
