Poor transportation and harsh living conditions have caused severe poverty in this area. Most villagers have relocated to nearby towns and cities.
Jin's colleagues also left and no one wanted to come.
"It's good that my students can go out with their parents and get better education," Jin said. "But I will stay in the village school as long as there is a student here."
