Football Achievers Awards to be presented in Guiyang

The 2019 Awards Ceremony of Football Achievers will be held in Huaxi district, Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, on July 12-15.
The ceremony will be held in the same city for five years in a row starting 2019.
The awards, voted by fans from around the world, go to influential and active football players who have made outstanding contributions to the development of football at the age of 28 or above.
Earlier in April, a Nominations Ceremony was staged in Monaco as a prelude to the Awards Ceremony. The event was attended by 220 influential guests from France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Monaco and other countries.
At the ceremony, legendary German goalkeeper Oliver Kahn introduced the nominees for Lifetime Achievement: Arjen Robben, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Franck Ribery, Robert Lewandowski, Francesc Fabregas, David Silva, N'golo Kante, Eden Hazard, Robin Van Persie and Thomas Muller.
The nominations for the awards of Newcomer Achievement, the Influencer and the Football Journalist: Special Recognition were announced by soccer legends Robbie Fowler and Steve McManaman.
