BEIJING - Nearly 2 million people in need have benefited from charity programs launched by the China Siyuan Foundation for Poverty Alleviation in 2018.

The foundation has donated 939 ambulances to hospitals in poverty-stricken regions, aided nearly 5,000 children with serious diseases from impoverished families, provided free surgeries to cataract patients and made donations of over 81 million yuan (11.8 million U.S. dollars) to schools and students in 2018.
The foundation also worked with leading e-commerce platforms to help farmers from 340 poverty-stricken counties across the country promote their agricultural products.
