After 10 years' unremitting endeavor, Peng Kaihui finally finished her embroidery artwork, Emperor Kangxi's Southern Tour.
The work, 1.2 meters high and 2 meters long, contains more than 100 figures that have various vivid expressions.
The 64-year-old craftswoman was born to a rural family in Binzhou county, Dali city of Southwest China's Yunnan province.
To support the family, she began to learn embroidery skills from her mother at the age of 13.
"I have refused some requests to buy the work at quite high prices," she told a local newspaper. "I want to donate it to a museum, showing the work, as well as my embroidery skills, to more people."
