Eight people remain missing after a ship with 12 people on board capsized early Sunday morning in the sea off Tangshan, North China's Hebei province, the local authority said on Monday.
Four of the 12 crew members were rescued immediately when the Hebei Maritime Research and Rescue Center sent a team to the scene after they were alerted at about 6:40 am on Sunday.
None of the missing have been found so far, according to the local rescue center.
The local rescue headquarters sent helicopters and rescue boats to enlarge the search area.
They also increased the rescue force by sending more submarines and professional rescue equipment to search the area.
