Chinese riders win gold and silver in women's cross-country mountain cycling

SUBANG, Indonesia - Chinese riders dominated the women's cross-country mountain cycling of Asian Games as they finished top two in the race on Tuesday.
Yao Bianwa completed the five-lap and 22.5-kilometer ride in one hour and 20 minutes 17 seconds, four minutes 39 seconds ahead of her teammate Li Hongfeng.
Natalie Panyawan of Thailand finished third in 1:26:11.
Yao, 22, built up unassailable lead, leaving Li one minute and 18 seconds behind.
"I very much enjoyed this race which was rather easy for me," Yao said.
"Before start, I forced myseld to focus on the race and avoided any distraction. I only wanted to ride well and did not think if I could win the gold," she said.
