Chinese president appoints new ambassadors

BEIJING - Chinese President Xi Jinping has appointed three new ambassadors in accordance with a decision by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, according to a statement from China's top legislature Wednesday.
Zhuo Ruisheng was appointed China's ambassador to Djibouti, replacing Fu Huaqiang.
Li Jinjin was appointed ambassador to Chad, replacing Wu Jie.
Liu Hongyang was appointed ambassador to Malawi, replacing Wang Shiting.
