A wormhole is a theoretical tunnel through space and time that could serve as a shortcut to remote destinations in the universe.
To express the scientific concept in through art, Yan Yonghong, an architecture professor from Chongqing University, partnered with contemporary artist Zhong Biao and created an 8-meter-long interactive installation called Seeing the Wormhole with an LED lighting system and multimedia technologies. It took them 11 months to finish the project. The installation will tour around China after the exhibition in Shenzhen.
