Arson suspect arrested after KTV fire kills 18

GUANGZHOU - Police have arrested the suspect allegedly responsible for a fire in a KTV bar that has killed 18 people and injured another five early Tuesday in south China's Guangdong province.
Liu Chunlu, 32, who lives near the karaoke TV lounge in Qingyuan, was suspected of starting the fire, and Liu suffered burn injuries on his hips in the blaze, according to local police.
The fire was reported at around 0:30 am in the bar on Chayuan Road of Yingde city under Qingyuan, and was put out at 0:55, said a statement issued by the public security bureau of Qingyuan city.
