Tang Liangzhi elected Chongqing mayor

CHONGQING - Tang Liangzhi was elected mayor of Southwest China's Chongqing municipality Wednesday.
The election was held at the first session of the 5th Chongqing Municipal People's Congress.
Tang, born in June 1960 and a native of Honghu, Central China's Hubei province, was appointed acting mayor of Chongqing earlier this month.
