C919 starts first long-distance test flight

SHANGHAI - The Chinese-produced large passenger jet, C919, started its first long-distance test flight on Friday morning.
With five crew members onboard, the plane took off in Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 11:38 a.m. on Friday and flied to Yanliang Testing Base in Xi'an, Northwest China's Shaanxi province.
In Yanliang, it will undergo further testing.
