New uniform coming to PLA

There's a new look coming to the People's Liberation Army. As of Aug 1, 2017 – the 90th anniversary of the PLA – a new summer uniform will be worn. Officials say the new headgear highlights Chinese elements and PLA characteristics, which are in line with the faces and temperament of Chinese soldiers.
