BANGKOK - At least four were killed, five missing and one injured as a 3-storey commercial building collapsed Monday morning in central Saraburi province which has been battered by heavy rain for three consecutive days.
The building is at the hill foot and it collapsed as run-off from the hill washed away the soil.
Four people were confirmed dead and at least three bodies have been removed from the debris but at least six people were believed to be still trapped inside.
In a related development, according to the latest report issued by the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Department, flood death toll has reached 80 while some 16 provinces are still facing flooding.
