5.7-magnitude quake hits Mongolia

BEIJING - An earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale hit Mongolia at 6:29 pm Beijing time Saturday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.

The epicenter, with a depth of 9 km, was initially determined to be at 44.0 degrees north latitude and 104.6 degrees east longitude.
