BANGKOK - Two people were shot in a gunfight near the main protest site in central Bangkok on Wednesday, as protesters fired back at troops, a Reuters witness said.
Thick black smoke billowed from the main protest site as protesters started burning tyre barricades, after troops fired warning shots and tear gas.
