Under the agreement, the first of which South Korea signed with a European nation, the two countries will share information and enhance security measures on battling drug and human trafficking, as well as organized crime, the agency said in a statement.
Also, South Korea will be able to benchmark Europe's advanced security system while establishing infrastructure to better- protect South Koreans living or traveling in the European region, it said.
The deal will also strengthen cooperative measures between the two countries during the upcoming G20 meeting scheduled to be held in Seoul in November, it added.
