The crowd control police have been waiting for an order to pull down the "red-shirt" stage, Thai News agency reported.

But, the "red-shirt" core leaders have insisted they won't leave the rally site on the Rathchaprasong Intersection as they are demanding the Prime Minister to dissolve the House of Representatives and hold a new general election.

Meanwhile, several other hundreds of the "red-shirts" are now also staging a rally at ThaiCom satellite station nearby capital Bangkok to demand the government to reopen their satellite-based People Channel television.
