UN chief to visit Haiti this weekend

UNITED NATIONS - UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon is to pay a one-day visit to quake-hit Haiti this weekend, said a UN spokesperson Friday.
"The secretary-general will be traveling to Haiti this Sunday for a one-day visit, to assess the conditions on the ground," Martin Nesirky told reporters. "This will be the secretary-general 's second visit to Haiti since the earthquake on January 12."
