JAKARTA - Two terrorists were killed on Friday in the latest shootout when the terrorists attacked a police outpost in Leubeum, in northernmost province of Aceh, local TV station reported here on Friday.

The report said that police also arrested eight terrorists after the shootout ended.

The police's outpost station was located near the hill close to the area used as a training camp in Aceh by terrorists. The TV report said the terrorist group came to the police station in a hired van and immediately opened fire at the police station after they arrived there.

Indonesian police units have been raiding the areas believed to be the terrorist training camp in the hilly area in the province since late last week.

At least three police and around five terrorists have been killed during the raid. The police's anti-terror squad had killed the alleged organizer of terrorist training camp in Jakarta on Tuesday.
