OTTAWA: A Canada's WestJet flight bound for Toronto was delayed Wednesday for more than four hours due to a man who started behaving suspiciously moments before takeoff in Montreal.
All remaining some 90 passengers were asked to get off the plane and were placed in a closed room to undergo security screening when the police boarded the plane, a 136-seat 737-700 series, with dogs.
Several other flights were delayed around the time of the incident, but no other departures or arrivals were affected.
The suspicious passenger was transferred to a police station in Montreal for questioning and was released afterwards with no charges.
