URUMQI: A passenger burned toilet paper in the washroom on a domestic flight in China Saturday, forcing the plane to return to the departure airport in Urumqi, capital city of Xinjiang.

The crew of the flight CZ6939, a China Southern airplane bound for central Chinese city of Wuhan, discovered the passenger's behavior some time after take-off, according to Xinjiang police sources.

Two passengers, including a man and a woman, were taken away by police after the flight landed at the Diwopu International Airport in Urumqi.

The case is being investigated.
