KABUL: Two civilians were killed as a mine planted by militants struck a civilian car in Paktika province east of Afghanistan Thursday, a press release of Interior Ministry said.
"The gruesome incident occurred at 06:55 a.m. local time outside Paktika's provincial capital Sharana, leaving two civilians dead," the press release added.
This is the second bomb attack in a single day on Thursday. Another bomb attack in Kandahar south of Afghanistan wounded three civilians on the same day Thursday.
