WELLINGTON: A bomb scare prompted the evacuation of the Wellington Court House on Friday morning, police said.

Police said emergency services were sent to the district and high courts after a phonecall about 10:30 a.m. (21:30 GMT Thursday) .

The courts were evacuated and road blocks put in place but occupants were allowed to return after a search failed to find anything.

Police were investigating.
