CANBERRA - One man was killed and another injured in a light plane crash in south-western Sydney, local police said on Tuesday.

Police said the plane crashed about seven kilometers from Oran Park, just off the Northern Road, at about 11:15 am local time (0115 GMT).

Ambulance officers were called to the crash site, the ABC radio reported.

No further details were available so far.
