BEIJING - The fifth China Horse Fair will be held at the Beijing International Exhibition Center from Thursday to Saturday.

The event, organized by the Chinese Equestrian Association (CEA), Hope-Tarsus Shanghai Exhibition Co, and Tarsus Group, is the most international and comprehensive event for trade professionals and enthusiasts in China's rapidly growing horse sports and leisure industries.

Exhibitors from Australia, Britain, France, Ireland, Holland, Germany, Canada, the United States, India, Japan, New Zealand, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium and China, will promote their products and services to industry contacts, who in turn will enjoy a display of the best horse breeds, along with the latest equipment and services for equine and rider training, health, safety and facility management.

Last year's exhibition attracted over 3,000 professionals. For the exhibitors, the gathering of top buyers represented an opportunity to boost their sales in China.

As economic growth continues across China, more people find themselves with disposable income to invest in new sports and leisure activities.

China's professional horse sports and leisure industry have benefited from this rise in demand, which is expected to continue. The CEA reported that the number of equestrian sports enthusiasts is increasing rapidly, with 1,000 new members registering weekly.

The popularization of equestrian sports in China is driving rapid increases in demand for a full range of high-end products including top quality horses, equipment, clothing and equine health products and services.

New and existing suppliers find it an ideal time to enter the Chinese market to grow their presence and sales.
