In 2001, China has surged to the world's top place in terms of trucks both running in the streets and on the pipelines. In the following years, China has maintained an annul growth rate of more than fifty percent in truck selling and production.

The statistic has shown a solid truth - the season has come for China to develope its own truck racing sports.
China Truck Racing, co-organized by the China Federation of Automobile Sports and Beijing Hanstone Advertising Co.,Ltd, oringinated in 2003 and is the only national truck racing competition across China.
At first, competitors were from professional rally drivers and amateur truckmen. The tournament's debut in 2003 arose public interest at the sports as China's most widely watched sports Channel CCTV-5 broadcasted the final live in Beijing.
The following year of 2004 was proven to be more successful than its predecessor. Registered competitors exceeded 1,000 and female drivers were included. An estimated 80 million people knew the racing via media.
Now the China Truck Racing has been rated one of the golden races under the China Federation of Automobile Sports. A strategic co-operation with the European Truck Racing has provided an advantage in the competition's domestic development.
After five year's development, the China Racing Truck has fledged into a major motor sports gala - drivers showcase acrobatic skills; beautiful cheerleaders dance around; amateurs savor the taste of first driving, and most important of all, the eye-catching truck racing are staged.
