It’s a casual story that Kaka, a little rhino, becomes mascot for the truck racing. I learnt from the tag in rhino’s hall at zoo that the species has no natural enemies. I don’t know if it’s scientifically right, but it did arouse my interest. Later I read an article about rhino, which is widely circulated on the Internet.

It writes:

“From the knowledge we’ve acquired, rhino is not a clever animal. Wrapped in heavy armor-like skin, it is the last four-legged species from prehistoric age. It should have been eliminated from the process of natural selections according to the evolutionism, but they still exit.

Why? It probably thanks to the animals’ ‘single-minded’ thinking mode. As long as a rhino defines a target, an immediate response would be made right away – charging towards it. Focusing all its power into the charge, the rhino wouldn’t give up it attack unless the target is either knocked down or disappeared.

We are entitled to live a tranquil life. But if you want to achieve something and make your name known in this life, you must know how to balance your choices. Setting up your goal, and mobilize yourself into the charge until the job is done -- that’s the way rhinos do it and we should learn from them. ”

Thereby, I am moved by the spirit of rhinos in an age that people give up or lose believes easily. To lose your belief means to give up your dream. In the dictionary of truck racing, belief means dream. Belief is a rule, an unbending spirit. It is a persistency and transcendency over your dream. This is the spirit of truck racing and with this spirit, I hope more people will experience the pleasure of persisting and surpassing through the stage of truck racing.
